Title:	The Political Culture of Southern Europe: A Four Nation Study
Description:	Forms and extent of political participation. Judgement on parties, political attitudes and moral orientations. Topics: most important political problems; ideal country in which economic development, individual freedom, social equality and democracy have been realized; media usage; memberships in clubs, occupation organizations, parties or trade unions; union membership of family members; religiousness; feelings with the term politics; political participation; feeling of belonging to a social class and self-classification of social class affiliation; attitude to forms of political participation from unconventional to violence-oriented; judgement on politicians; interest in politics; sympathy scale for the most important politicians for the USA, the USSR, the military, the Greens, peace groups, the church and the judiciary; designation of the institution having the greatest power in the country; preference for opportunism or loyalty to principles in political life; attitude to democracy; attitude to citizen involvement in government measures; attitude to revolutionary changes of society and to fascism; attitude to political parties (scale); preferred number of parties; compatibility of Catholicism and voting for a communist or socialist party; most important characteristics of an ideal party; classification of the parties on a left-right continuum; party allegiance; most important reasons for voting for a specific party and for not voting; self-classification on a left-right continuum; personal change in party voted for; assessment of personal proximity to the most important parties; eligible party and party one cannot vote for; behavior at the polls in the last election; company size.
