Description:	Determination of education, occupation and areas of responsibility of employees with mid-range and higher qualification. Attitudes, interests and reading habits. Topics: 1. Education, occupation and function: status in profession; length of employment; part-time or full-time employment; school education and professional training; education areas; college education; academic degree; academic and non-academic occupations studied, with or without degree; leadership duties and management activities; duties in office and management; activities primarily conducted; range of control; personal office; personal use of technical equipment and computers for office communication and control of production; knowledge of foreign languages; measures for further education completed; seminars and courses; further education specific to field; further education for higher qualification; schooling within the company; interest in measures for further education; activity as instructor; secondary activities; honorary activities; memberships in organizations, associations, clubs or parties; time worked each week; overtime; days of vacation; use of company car; car brand and displacement; purchase or lease of vehicle; vehicle equipped with catalytic converter and car telephone; participants in purchase decision; possibility to use the company car privately. 2. Information on company or business: area of business or branch of economy; business form; legal form of business; branches; headquarters of the business in the FRG; number of employees in the company as well as in the entire business; annual turnover; business activities in foreign countries; the significance of export as well as of government customers for the business; furnishing of the company with telecommunication facilities and data processing equipment; use of external services. 3. Attitudes and interests: most important personal events in the last 5 years; most important factors promoting career; attitude to occupation, occupation orientation (scale); most important factors of occupational satisfaction (scale); satisfaction with income; strength of personality (acceptance of responsibility, personal opinion leadership etc., scale); expression of strength of personality; detailed recording of leisure interests in the areas sport, do-it-yourself, yard work, making music, trips to opera, concerts, the theater, trips to museums, reading, media usage, trips to restaurants, travels, further education and performing occupational work at home; interest in politics and society, such as e.g. national politics, international policy, politics of developing countries, European politics, tax policies, economic policy, social policy, disarmament, energy sources, environmental protection, the job market, education policies, technology, medicine or health, the economy, research, electronics, computers, citizen initiatives, alternative ways of life, relations between humans, the culture of foreign peoples, travel information and architecture. 4. Information habits: sources of information used professionally; observing the job market; reading of job advertisements and contacts with personnel consultants; job information about friends and acquaintances; regularity of job information. 5.
