| Description: | Tutkimuksessa kiinnostuksen kohteina olivat mm. kansalaisten käsitykset ulkopolitiikan hoidosta ja puolueettomuuden merkityksestä. Vastaajilta kysyttiin henkilökohtaista mielipidettä sotilaallisesta liittoutumisesta, valmiusjoukoista, sotilaallisesta maanpuolustuksesta, puolustuspoliittisista perusratkaisuista ja puolustusvoimille myönnettävistä varoista. Lisäksi vastaajilta tiedusteltiin mielipidettä EU-jäsenyyden vaikutuksesta Suomen kehitykseen sekä Suomen ja suomalaisten turvallisuuteen vaikuttavista ilmiöistä. Taustamuuttujina olivat vastaajan sukupuoli, ikäryhmä, sosiaaliryhmä, koulutus, asuinpaikka ja asuinalue. In the survey, Finnish citizens' views on, for instance, the administration of foreign policy and the meaning of neutrality were probed. The respondents were asked to state their personal opinions on military alliances, stand-by forces, military civil defence, basic defence policy strategies, as well as on the funding of the Finnish Defence Forces. Opinions on the impact of EU membership on Finland's development were also monitored. In addition, the respondents were asked to assess phenomena influencing the security of Finland and Finnish citizens. Background variables included the respondent's sex, age group, social group, education, and the place and area of residence. |
