The aims of this project were to make available to scholars and other researchers information on average weekly age-and sex-specific earnings and employment shares (i.e. proportions of the total industry labour force employed) of British cotton textile workers in each year between 1833 and 1906, and to provide details on how those estimates were prepared.<br>
